Sigi Skin's Promotional Campaigns

Sigi Skin Marsello Success Story

Skincare retailer, Sigi Skin uses email campaigns to stay in touch with customers and promote their products. In 2020, Sigi Skin has made an 1158% increase in the average revenue they make per email campaign, and they are consistently achieving industry-high open rates, click-throughs, and conversions with their retail email marketing strategy. Read on to learn more.

A Sigi Skin branded email on a pink background. The email is a Mother’s Day Pomo which has an image of 5 pastel-coloured beauty products and offers a free luggage zip pouch when customers shop this specific skincare range. The promotion is valid until just before Mother’s Day 2020. At the bottom of the email, there is a green ‘SHOP NOW’ button and 2 small social media icon links to Facebook and Instagram.

Sigi Skin has implemented dozens of successful email campaigns so far, but one of our favorites is the One-off Campaign they sent on Mother’s Day. To celebrate moms everywhere, Sigi Skin promoted their Ultimate Skin Kit, which included their full range of products – they even threw in a freebie; a small luggage zip pouch. We love this strategy because Sigi Skin chose to add value instead of slashing their prices; not to mention, the promotion was a perfect gift idea. Skincare products make for great presents and the free zip pouch made the package even more giftable.

This campaign had an impressive open rate of 37% and a conversion rate of 19%, and, in the first 7 days since it was sent, the campaign saw a revenue increase on their usual daily sales of +48%.

The look and feel of the message were fully aligned with Sigi Skin’s clean and modern brand. As for the messaging, Sigi Skin kept their email copy simple and to the point. They also set a deadline for the promotion to add a sense of urgency and get shoppers to act quickly.

The bottom line: Sigi Skin shows us that you don’t always have to discount your products to achieve tremendous results. A well-timed offer that adds value can do wonders for your sales and conversions.
